Here we go again. A set of Microsoft built-in end-of-support (EOS) deadlines commence January 2020 and the smart money is starting to plan for that now. First – we’re talking Windows, Windows Server and SQL Server. One of the greatest drivers for managed services providers (MSPs) is a statutory deadline.

This is the second installment of a three-part series on Linux. At SMB Nation, we have declared June to be “Linux Month.” Why? Because knowledge is power and knowing what the other side does/looks like brings us all together as a community.

One of the most impactful conversations at the recent Lenovo Accelerate conference was a 1:1 with Todd DeSaix, Sr. Product Marketing Manager / Segment Leader, IOT and Edge Solutions, Data Center Group at Lenovo. The idea of pushing IoT “to the Toddedge” is appealing to the adrenaline junkies inside the SMB Nation community.

 

What an amazing journey it’s been for Marvin Bee. Having entered the technology consulting and services business organically (starting with after hours work),Bee has grown a successful practice in Southern Florida (automotive, legal and other verticals).

Good golly – I just started a three-part lecture series on Linux! At the risk of losing my Seattle citizenship, I wanted the SMB Nation crowd to take a look at the “other side” and expand your horizons beyond Microsoft. Yes – there is another world out there.
