snom today announced the addition of an IP Business Phone to its 7xx line. The snom 715 is an SIP phone with many of the same features as the snom 710, with the addition of a dual-port Gigabit Ethernet switch.
The snom 715 also features a pre-installed security certificate, which eases the provisioning process for both hosted/cloud VoIP and on-site PBXs. In addition, the 715 device features a four-line, black and white display, Wi-Fi capabilities, wideband HD audio and five programmable function keys.
“This is an IP desktop phone for businesses with big needs but small budgets,” said Mike Storella, VP Americas of snom technology. “Gigabit Ethernet is typically a hallmark of more expensive phones, but we are delivering that capability at an estimated street price of $139.”
snom is currently featuring this new device at the ITEXPO East conference in Miami, FL from Jan 28-31.
