Earlier this week, Intronis, Inc. announced the debut of its Fall ’13 Release for general use by worldwide channel partners. The new release includes three main updates designed to allow users to backup, restore and manage their virtual machine host clusters from one place.
“These new features and functionality introduced in our Fall ’13 Release complete our imaging solution for virtual machines and enable our channel partners to capitalize on the increasing market demand for cloud-based data storage by delivering a more robust backup and recovery service to their customers that also provides total local availability,” explained Chuck DeLouis, VP, Product Management, Intronis, in a press release this week.
These three main updates are:
- Improved partner web portal and a more intuitive interface design for the overall solution, primarily in regards to the folder hierarchy and creation of backup sets.
- Users may now create and/or update recovery VMs located on a single host in a cluster.
- Users may now define unique destinations for multiple virtual machines.
