Yesterday, ZyXEL Communications, a broadband networking service provider, announced a partnership with Kaspersky Labs to offer free one-year subscription licenses of the Endpoint Security for Business Suite to clients. ZyXEL will offer up to 5 free licenses based on the level of USG Unified Threat Management Devices purchased.
Executive Vice President, ZyXEL, Steven Joe, explained the push behind this partnership in a press release yesterday: “ZyXEL has combined a complete set of tools with best in breed security vendors for our UTM devices to offer SMBs an unmatched solution in performance and simplicity. As SMBs experience persistent security threats, we are working with partners like Kasparsky to find more ways to help businesses try new tools to improve their network defenses, risk-free.”
The company’s USG series of UTM devices eligible for the free Kaspersky license include: USG20, USG20W, USG50, USG100, USG200, USG1000 and USG2000. All models are designed to offer broadband network security to SMBs who have remote offices or allow BYOD.
