Yesterday morning, Zenoss, Inc. announced that its Zenoss Cloud Service Assurance Solution, Version 4.2.4 has completed interoperability testing with Cisco’s Virtualized Multiservice Datacenter Virtual Service Architecture, Version 1.0. Zenoss representatives explained that this testing was completed via Cisco’s Developer Network.
“Zenoss CSA helps customers get maximum value from their converged infrastructure,” explains Alan Conley, Zenoss CTO. “New cloud deployments are increasingly leveraging Cisco’s VMDC and moving towards NFV (network functions virtualization) architectures. By adding support for these new virtual appliances, our customers can ensure the same reliability and agility for their network that they have long enjoyed with their server workloads.”
The Zenoss CSA solution was designed specifically for Cisco Data Center converged deployments, and can now provide support for the following Cisco network appliances:
- Citrix NetScaler 1000V
- Cisco Cloud Services Router 1000V series
- Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance 1000v Cloud Firewall
This means that users can now have access to better customer service, reduced risk in deployments, reduced time to deploy solutions, and improved efficiency.
