Yesterday, Unitrends expanded their UniRewards Channel Partner Program. This program, which incentivizes sales of Unitrends solutions, has been in a pilot stage since October 2012, but is now open to all of the company’s 500+ global partner organizations.
“Our mission has always been to provide our channel ecosystem with technology they feel confident selling, support and service they trust, and a true partner that’s easy to work with,” said Bob Gagnon, Vice President of Channel Sales, Unitrends, in a press release yesterday. “We want our partners to know that we are committed to their success, just as they are a crucial part of ours. UniRewards was designed to give back to the companies that take care of us on a daily basis.”
The Unitrends channel program saw 198 percent growth in new VAR accounts from 2011 to 2012. In addition, there were approximately 1700 members in the pilot program late last year. Members of this partner program are able to access live sales chat and platform support daily from 8 am-6p m Eastern, as well as 48-hour turnaround time for deal registration approvals, online training resources, ready-to-use marketing/co-branding materials and quarterly incentives to earn points.
UniRewards partners are also able to earn points for registering closed deals, qualified leads and inviting other sales reps to join. These points may then be redeemed for cash (loaded onto a Visa card) or various gift cards. Unitrends reported that partners have a 10 business day SLA for payout of any reward points, which are redeemed through the UniRewards portal.
