Unitrends announced its hybrid cloud Disaster Recovery as a Service offering that can recover entire IT infrastructures within hours of a disaster.
This new DRaaS offering allows customers to backup virtual and physical environments on-site with continuous replication of data, systems, and applications to the cloud through No Limits Cloud storage. If a disaster or failure occurs, live virtual machines and physical systems are instantly created within the same cloud to recover all IT infrastructure, preventing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
The DRaaS offering also makes use of Unitrend technologies ReliableDR, Unitrends Enterprise Backup and Unitrends Bridge, which make the recovery of IT infrastructure iron-clad, according to Unitrends.
“We’ve combined several proven technologies into a unified and federated cloud offering,” said Mark Campbell, Unitrends’ chief strategy and technology officer. “Unitrends empowers customers with the ability to orchestrate recovery processes to meet application recovery point objectives, recovery time objectives and SLAs. The result is audit and compliance proof to meet regulatory and legal requirements, 100 percent Disaster Recovery Assurance, and peace of mind that mission-critical applications are protected and can be run from the cloud when needed.”
Pricing for the No Limits Cloud and DRaaS offerings ranges from 18 cents per GB per month to 32 cents per GB per month. ReliableDR Disaster Recovery Assurance services are available for $50 per virtual machine per GB per month.
