Earlier today, Unitrends announced Release 7.4, which includes improvements in replication and archiving speeds, as well as the addition of improved disaster recovery setup. Chief among the updates is Unitrends Bridge, a system that allows users to move physical Windows machines to virtual versions with one click.

Additional features include:
- Integration with Unitrends Cloud.
- Updated, web-based reporting capabilities, including export feature to Adobe Acrobat.
- Improved replication speeds, up to ten times.
- Drastically improved data retention and better de-duplication feature.
- Enhanced support for Linux.
- Up to 200% faster archiving and new parallel configuration feature, which will allow multiple jobs to run at the same time.
