Yesterday, TalkPoint and Blue Jeans Network announced that they have entered into an integration agreement. This agreement will allow for TalkPoint’s cloud-based webcasting tech to work with the video collaboration services of Blue Jeans.
“Today’s integration with TalkPoint is the next step in the progression of our mission to incorporate Blue Jeans video conferencing capabilities with leading business applications,” said James Matheson, Vice President of Marketing at Blue Jeans Network, in a press release yesterday. “We are excited to integrate multi-party video into the already popular webcast experience provided by TalkPoint.”
In particular, this integration will open up multi-presenter functionalities for TalkPoint webcast users. Presentations may be moved between single and multi-presenter mode during a broadcast, which will give a richer experience to audience members. These multiple connections will be linked via a single, video system-agnostic integrated audio bridge in the TalkPoint live studio. This integration will also allow Blue Jeans to broadcast their meetings to a larger audience.
