Earlier today, snom technology announced that its PA1 solution has been named the 2014 Internet Telephony Product of the year by integrated media company, TMC. The snom PA1, a public address system, was selected for its ability to work with existing hardware and VoIP/PA infrastructure.
snom explained that the PA1 allows a user to make a call from any snom phone, which will transmit music and messages via a 4-watt amplifier. This system can cover an entire room, or just a specific floor.
“We’d like to thank TMC, the publisher of Internet Telephony, for recognizing snom and the PA1 with its Product of the Year award,” said Mike Storella, vice president of snom Americas. “The PA1 is unique in that it lets businesses make broadcast announcements from a desktop VoIP phone and upgrade its communications system without buying, installing or wiring any new gear.”
