Do you ever listen to drive-time radio on the way to work and hear of a “show us your sticker” contest? Sure you do – it’s typically based on displaying the station’s call letters as a bumper sticker. A few years ago, in the Small Business Specialist Community (SBSC) days, we held a “show us your sticker” contest in our SMB PC magazine. We received entries from around the world, and it was very exciting!
Here is our proposition: as we travel the world articulating the Windows XP migration opportunity, we are bumping into Windows XP everywhere we go. For example, the following XP sightings have recently been reported:
- Home Depot point-of-sale system (Figure 1)
- Seattle-Tacoma International Airport self-check kiosk (Figure 2)
- Charles Schwab broker logon site (Figure 3)
- Kaiser hospital medical devices in LA, CA (Figure 4)
So send us your Windows XP “pic” for inclusion in our workshop tour and we’ll extend you proper credit! That way you can brag you’re making a difference in the Windows XP migration movement. Send to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
