Netsurion recently announced that it has added industry veteran, Mark Bartig, to its team, as the company’s new Senior Vice President of Sales. He previously spent 10 years on the Symantec team, and brings with him years of corporate strategy experience in the SMB space.
This was actually the major push for Netsurion to add Bartig to its team. The Houston, TX-based provider of Cloud IT Security services is looking to expand into the SMB space, wherein there is a quickly-growing market opportunity.
“Joining Netsurion was compelling because this type of security is essential right now for SMBs, driven by higher data breach risks and growing awareness and concern for the security of data,” said Bartig. “Netsurion's cloud-managed firewalls are easy to implement and cost effective, enabling SMBs to achieve enterprise class security. I'm eager to be a part of the team and promote substantial sales growth as the company continues its expansion.”
The addition of Bartig is one in a long line of expansions for Netsurion. In November 2014, the company announced the appointment of Kevin Watson as CEO, and just last month, the company underwent a rebrand from VendorSafe to Netsurion.
“Mark brings to Netsurion an incredible amount of talent, experience and strategic perspective as well as a proven track record in driving impressive sale and revenue growth for leading technology companies,” said Netsurion CEO, Watson. “We're excited to welcome him as we accelerate our entry into new markets, where his expertise will, no doubt, be instrumental.”
