Yesterday, MaintenanceNet, Inc. announced a partnership with the Panasonic Corporation. Through this partnership, Panasonic gains access to MaintenanceNet’s Service Contract Management platform, Service 360, for their new distribution partner program.
MaintenanceNet’s Service 360 Platform allows users to view their entire standard warranty and service contract portfolios to streamline the renewal process. This platform has been implemented as part of the Panasonic Services Portal, a free service that functions as a sales lead generator for partners to track expiring service contracts and warranties. MaintenanceNet technology automates the delivery of service entitlement certificates to customers. As more products/services are added, the MaintenanceNet program will update and allow sales personnel to view and track lifecycles and measure team performance. The Panasonic Services Portal is currently available for four main categories: Video Surveillance, Professional Displays, Computers/Tablets and Projectors.
“This partnership represents an exciting new opportunity for Panasonic and its maintenance services business,” said Shayne Skaff, Vice President of Business Development, MaintenanceNet, in a press release today. “With complete visibility into its service contract inventory, Panasonic will be able to better serve its customers’ maintenance service requirements and proactively assist them with renewals. In addition, the platform drives higher levels of sales efficiency by enabling partners to easily manage and track maintenance purchases.”
