Glip, Inc. announced yesterday the integration of applications Jira, Harvest, and Github into its business messaging platform Glip as the first phase of its integrations initiative.
These integrations will unify distinct services into a cohesive conversation, resulting in simpler communications and better decisions. The integrations initiative was the result of a survey of thousands of Glip customers, and more integrations will be introduced in the coming weeks.
Glip is intended to serve team communication and allow teams and companies to communicate quickly. Glip contains a variety of tools such as video conferencing, file sharing, and shared calendars that reduce the need for multiple applications.
“Our vision has always been to disrupt business communications with secure messaging that not only has built-in productivity tools, but also integrates with other applications our customers use and love. The first wave of integrations announced today is an example of our focus to drive business value to our customers,” said Peter Pezaris, CEO Glip. “While our core app tightly integrates modern business messaging with the essential productivity tools, these partnered integrations extend Glip’s benefits to other important activities performed by millions of people every day. If you are a user of Jira, Harvest, or GitHub, you can bring them into the Glip conversation and be more productive right away.”
Glip, Inc. also announced Glip Webhooks, which allows users to connect the service of their choice into Glip. Emoji are now available in Glip, which the company believes adds an element of fun into work and makes communication more powerful.
The Glip conversation is free to users for an unlimited period of time to access up to 10,000 posts, 5GB of storage, or 500 minutes of video calls. Subscription plans cost $5 per user per month or $50 per user per year for unlimited posts, 10GB of storage, and 1,000 minutes of video calls.
