GFI MAX Releases Updated Version of Backup Solution

gfi max smallGFI MAX recently announced that it has released a new version of GFI MAX Backup, which includes support for Windows 8.1, Max OSX 10.9 and VMware vSphere 5.5.

GFI announced that the latest version of GFI MAX Backup features a Disk-to-Disk-to-Cloud hybrid system, available with either 128-bit or 448-bit Blowfish encryption. It also includes support for PSAs like Connectwise and Autotask, which allows for monitoring of the backup system directly from the PSA dashboard.

In addition, the soltuion turns the client's online backup service into a DRaaS offering, by allowing user to perform a full system restore on Windows Systems as a VMware ESXi™ 4.1 or VMware vSphere 5.x compatible virtual machine. According to GFI MAX, this means that the customer no longer has to wait for a repair or replacement on a machine. GFI is currently offering a free 30-day trial of GFI MAX Backup to MSPs at the site here.
