Yesterday, Estech Systems, Inc. (ESI) announced that they have acquired the branding and retail assets of Vintalk from Vinculum Communications, Inc. This acquisition allows the ESI, acommunications service provider with 25 years in the industry, to enter the hosted PBX and SIP trunking market.
“After an exhaustive and careful search which began in December, 2011, our purchase decision was based on the strategic fit that we found between Vintalk’s solutions and ESI’s product portfolio,” said George Platt, President and Chief Operating Officer, ESI, in a press release yesterday. “The purchase of this best-of-breed voice over IP (VoIP) network and full suite of IP and unified communications services puts ESI in the position to offer businesses Web-based VoIP calling technologies which are tightly integrated with the phone devices connected to them,” added Platt.
ESI completed the purchase of the Vintalk brand and assets on 9 January, 2013. The agreement included the Vintalk infrastructure, as well as the transition of retail employees and Vintalk customer base to ESI divisions. ESI expects to utilize these new assets to their fullest to drive innovation and provide better flexibility to clients.
