Earlier this week, Costa Mesa, CA-based network monitoring and management company, Emulex Corporation, announced the start of the Endace Fusion Ecosystem Program at the Gartner IT Infrastructure and Operations Management Summit in Orlando, FL. This program is designed to allow EndaceProbe appliance customers to meet at a single framework and interact to solve operational issues.
The current program partners include Velocimetrics, Compuware and SevOne. The program is based on simplifying the network and security operations workflow in an organization, and is based on three facets:
- Fusion Alliances: Through which partners can develop and access technology that is compatible with the Endace solutions.
- Fusion Connectors: Programs that will be attached to network monitoring systems in an effort to streamline workflow and prevent security threats. These fusion connectors will be enabled by the Endace RESTful API.
- Endace Application Dock: This will allow users to run third-party apps and vendor tools on their Endace APIs.
“As part of our strategy to enable the network and application performance management (NPM and APM) industries, we have created the Endace Fusion Ecosystem program to enable EndaceProbe INR customers to extract more value from their investments with their current management and monitoring tools,” said Mike Riley, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Endace division, Emulex, in a press release this week. “This program is the first step in integrating the Emulex line of Endace products with complementary partner solutions, which is essential to providing customers with an overall solution that can pass data between them, or work on a single set of data, seamlessly. This enables a simplified workflow and quicker time to problem resolution for NetOps and SecOps specialists.”
