Earlier this week, D&H Distributing announced the addition of a new site dedicated to its Education Resellers. This site, located at www.dandh.com/K12, features a number of resources, including new webcasts and white-label marketing materials.
D&H noted some recent initiatives in the education space dedicated to helping schools update their technology. These initiatives include Microsoft’s “Shape the Future” campaign and the ConnectEd program, which is a parallel to the old E-Rate program in the 1990’s. In addition, the new Common Core State Standards policy specifically uses technology as part of its coursework. D&H is passionate about this vertical, citing it as one of the fastest-growing in the next few years. As part of the company’s mission to help its Education Resellers, D&H has added a major emphasis on education to its upcoming Mid-Atlantic Trade Show (June 26). This show will include an “Education Lounge” in which attendees can test the latest technologies and products in this vertical.
“The education marketplace can be complicated to navigate, often involving Federal or state-based parameters and arduous application processes. In addition, vendors offer a range programs for VARs to sort through,” explained Larry Staub. “D&H will use the resources at its disposal to help support resellers, advising them as to the types of solutions, products, and infrastructures they can choose to fulfill bids. We offer a selection of affordable, high quality devices both from the Chrome and the Windows perspective, and we have the expertise to help solution providers create the best solutions for successful and cost-effective K-12 environments.”
To aid Education Resellers, D&H has added the following resources to their K12 page:
- Assistance in the bidding process and access to exclusive vendor pricing from Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Samsung.
- Links for updates on the Common Core Standard, Shape the Future and ConnectED programs.
- White-Label Marketing template titled: “Continue to Educate Without the IT Headache.”
- New webcasts, including the latest from D&H’s Education in K-12 Director, Larry Staub, titled: “Capitalizing on Business Opportunities in K-12.”
- Updated Solutions Lab sessions, including: “Understanding Chromebooks and How They Fit Into K-12.”
In particular, D&H reported that the session from Larry Straub was one of the company’s best-attended US-only Solutions Lab broadcasts to date. For more information about the D&H Education site page, please contact your D&H representative.
