D&H Distributing recently announced the addition of four new services for its education resellers. As many of you have read, the well-respected disty has been fostering an in-depth education program for its resellers, as this particular vertical is rapidly-growing.
“We’re finding the opportunity is not just limited to large-tier resellers in expansive metro areas. There’s a significant market for SMB VARs to gain revenues through regional K-12 installations. As a distribution partner, we provide the guidance and resources that increase the reseller’s ability to capture the sale,” said Larry Staub, director of D&H’s education division.
The four services announced are: Asset Tagging, Chrome Economics 101, NETGEAR Free Remote Site Delivery and the White Glove Advantage Program. To start, the Asset Tagging service allows resellers to help their education customers meet individual district requirements for labels. Each device ordered through this service will have a specific label attached before leaving D&H’s warehouse, and is supposed to help school districts easily track and categorize devices.
The Chrome Economics 101 service is a white label marketing template for use in selling Chromebooks. The NETGEAR Free Remote Site Delivery service is being offered to D&H education resellers. Through this program, a NETGEAR engineer will visit an educational institution’s site and will build a report for that particular location’s needs. This report is a no-obligation, no-cost service that the reseller can then use to have a service discussion.
Finally, the White Glove Advantage Program allows D&H to automatically enroll school districts in the Google Chrome Management program. What this means is that each Chromebook unit shipped will be registered and will have the proper password/information for the institution to just open the box and get started, without having to take time and register each device.
