CloudBerry Lab™ Introduces Managed Backup with Advanced Remote Management

cloudberrylabIn the CloudBerry Managed Backup new version Managed Service Providers are enabled to get full control over their customers’ backup jobs through the web based control panel. Advanced remote management allows creating and modifying backup plans configuration on the user computer remotely. Service providers can specify plan name and backup source, create filters for specific types of files and folders, configure backup schedule as well as specify compression and encryption options on the user computer being offsite.

All the configurations are made through the web interface and don’t require onsite support.  As soon as a backup plan is created and saved, it immediately applies to the selected workstation or server and appears in the backup client user interface.  Also service providers can remotely run and stop backup plans on the user computer.

Alongside with the backup plan remote configuration service providers with one click can send logs from the user’ computer directly to the CloudBerry Lab support team and change user’ access credentials to the backup client.
