We were alerted today by Microsoft that Office 365 subscribers who are iPhone users can now, conveniently take advantage of a free Apple

Store Apps known as “Office Mobile for iPhone.According to a blog posted today by Julia White, General Manager, Microsoft Office Division, Office Mobile for iPhone is available for free to Office 365 Home Premium and Office 365 ProPlus subscribers. “Similar to our free Office Mobile for Windows Phone that ships with every handset, the iPhone app enables great Office content viewing and on-the-go content editing capabilities,” White shared.

Once users sign in to their Office 365 accounts via their iPhones, they can access, view and edit Microsoft Office documents from anywhere, the same as they would from a PC or Mac White added that formatting will remain intact once users go back to access their documents on their PCs or Macs.

“When we launched Office 365 earlier this year, we committed to delivering regular updates and new capabilities to Office 365 subscribers,” White said. “Since then, we've expanded Skype calling and added new OneNote features. Office Mobile is another great example of the value of subscribing to Office 365, and I can guarantee you, there will be lots more to come.”
