Xerox announced John Kennedy will join the corporation as chief marketing officer and a vice president. Kennedy comes to Xerox after 18 years with IBM in a number of senior marketing, sales, and strategy roles.
Kennedy’s most recent role at IBM was as the vice president, global business services; in this role, he was responsible for marketing and generation of demand for their global business services.
“John brings a global view and a proven track record of success changing brand perception and driving strategic business results through integrated marketing and communications,” said Hervé Tessler, senior vice president and president of Corporate Operations, Xerox. “He is a natural choice to lead our efforts in the digital age and to strengthen and broaden the Xerox brand around the world.”
