Independent field service technician provider FieldSolutions has entered into an agreement with New York City-based Work Market to provide FieldSolutions’ clients with an even broader range of skill capabilities that can be accessed directly and seamlessly from the FieldSolutions management system, and supported by FieldSolutions’ technology field service operations support services and enterprise analytics tools.
The new relationship with Work Market, effective May 15, gives FieldSolutions’ clients the additional option to leverage the Work Market marketplace. The benefits to FieldSolutions’ clients include an increased base of people registered with Work Market, all while working through a single field service management system, which provides consolidated administration for the broader range of staffing and skill offerings from FieldSolutions.
Work Market, which I have visited several times in the last couple of years, since I am close to its NYC headquarters, has been growing steadily as of late. I remember even dubbing them the "Millionaire Matchmaker of the Channel" a couple of years back. The company announced last month a partnership and extensive integration with Autotask. The relationship involves the layering of Work Market’s web-based software and marketplace on top of the Autotask platform, allowing customers to instantly access a global marketplace of qualified contractors, freelancers, and temporary workers in a compliant fashion, and take advantage of a scalable global payment engine.
In addition, last spring, iYogi, a provider of on-demand remote tech support services, partnered with Work Market to initially recruit 1.000 local Tech Support Engineers across the United States for Business NonStop platform.
According to Jeff Leventhal, founder and CEO of Work Market, “selection by FieldSolutions to be integrated within their technology platform clearly demonstrates the complementary value that Work Market can bring in partnership with FieldSolutions;” he said, “by combining each company’s unique capabilities, the two companies provide an even broader and more valuable customer solution. Our strong beliefs in open APIs, distributed tool sets and marketplace processes allow us to enter into these special relationships. Partnering with a clear leader in the technology services field validates our go-to-market plan with partners; it not only makes sense, but is possible.”
