Enterprise file-sync-and-share provider WatchDox announced the forthcoming availability of its Cloud Content Connectors, which will extend protection to files created or stored in cloud storage repositories. It will first offer its Cloud Content Connector for Google Drive.
“Today’s enterprise users create, share and store content across multiple platforms and repositories, but not all services meet enterprise security or productivity needs,” said Ryan Kalember, chief product officer at WatchDox. “WatchDox Cloud Content Connectors provide a single pane of glass to access and secure all enterprise content, whether a file sits in Google Drive, on a network file share or on a desktop. This not only creates productivity efficiencies, it also enhances existing content security with our data-centric protections.”
Through the Cloud Content Connector for Google Drive, users will be able to maintain data-centric protections such as access controls and tracking. Users will also be able to see all of their repositories together, including Google Drive.
The WatchDox Cloud Content Connectors are a part of the greater WatchDox EFSS solution.
