A couple of weeks ago – we hosted a popular Windows 8.1 feature creature webinar, also known as speeds and feeds. Actually it was much more analytical than that. :) You can watch the replay of the webinar here by selecting the “Essential Windows 8.1 Primer for Partners: New Technical Features” link.
So the question is this: is it time for Windows 8.1 yet? Well I can tell you that Windows 8.1 performed wonderfully this past weekend when in the US we reverted to Standard Time early Sunday, November 3, 2013 (as the figure shows). If you think back to a lifetime ago – there was a time with NetWare and even Windows NT Server where you had to do this manually followed by an era of synching with external time servers. But I’m dating myself.
Another lively conversation about Windows 8.1 occurred during our Windows XP Migration Combat Kit webinar on October 31, 2013. Select it here and choose “Special Halloween Webinar: Get Your Windows XP Migration Combat Kit NOW!”
