Telkonet business division EcoSmart, an energy management technology platform, announced its system will be installed in all guest rooms, lobby areas and meeting spaces at the Hilton Barra in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
EcoSmart can reduce energy consumption by almost half without compromising comfort, necessary to meet the growing demand and increasing cost for energy. Products part of the EcoSmart suite to be installed at the Hilton Barra include EcoInsight, a thermostat; EcoView, an in-room occupancy sensor; and the EcoConnect, which provides a fully networked energy management solution.
"The EcoSmart energy management system will provide the Hilton Barra, Rio de Janeiro considerable cost savings as a result of reduced energy consumption – achieving project payback in as little as 18 months," said Chad Burow, Telkonet Director of Sales and Marketing.
Channel partner Evolutix worked with Telkonet to secure the contract.
