In response to the tornadoes earlier this week in Oklahoma and Texas, StorageCraft has pledged to provide relief by offering a free three-day version of its BDR software products, StorageCraft ShadowProtect IT Edition. The company is providing a free download to businesses and non-profit organizations in the regions that were affected by the storms.
Once accessed, the software gives users three days to backup and recover an unlimited number of laptops, desktops and servers, even if it wasn’t installed on the machine prior to the disaster. The ShadowProtect software will help affected organizations in their efforts to regain or maintain business continuity in the aftermath of these natural disasters.
“The people of Texas and Oklahoma have been dealt heavy blows the past week from deadly tornadoes. Our hopes and prayers are with them, and we want to assist businesses and other organizations as their communities begin efforts to overcome these adversities and return to normal life,” said Jeff Shreeve, president and CEO at StorageCraft.
Users may download the software and receive instructions on how to backup and recover their systems and data by visiting www.storagecraft.com/storm between now and June 5, 2013.
As an aside, SMB Nation will be offering a webinar tomorrow at 10 am PST sponsored by StorageCraft. Titled: "Disasters Happen: Ensure You Have Recovery Options at Your Fingertips," the featured speakers are on our own Harrybbb and Steven Snyder, StorageCraft's Technical Marketing Manager. The webinar will introduce the StorageCraft Recover-Ability Solution including the newest component of the solution, StorageCraft Cloud Services. Snyder will also walk attendees through six recovery options using the solution and explain solution features that will drive ease and profitability for your operations.
