snom technology AG today introduced its new lineup of IP-based cordless DECT products, expected to improve coverage, reliability and features.
The snom M65 IP DECT phone and M700 multi-cell base station will be released in October, and the M5 DECT repeater will be released later this year.
“Our M65 DECT phone and M700 base station represents a new generation of feature-rich mobility for business users,” said Tom Ostrander, Director of North American Channel Sales. “These new products offer expanded range, and more features and flexibility for administrators to easily increase the number of users while maintaining performance.”
The M65 handset is ideal for companies who need an IP-based DECT phone that has mobility between several floors. It offers better call quality and more features at a lesser price than cell service because it is integrates with existing phone systems.
The M700 multi-cell base station, meant to work in conjunction with the M65 handset, expands coverage and can be linked with other base stations to blanket a building with coverage. It supports up to 200 handsets, 40 base stations and 100 repeaters in the same installation.
The M65 DECT phone and M700 base station are interoperable with all major VoIP systems.
The M5 DECT repeater can bridge gaps between base stations and increase reception range to lessen the possibility of dropped calls or blind spots.
