1.) OKI Data Expands Digital Color Printer Line: OKI Data Americas announced the availability of a new and broader range of transfer media offerings approved for use with the OKI pro920WT and 711WT digital color printers – the GO FlipIt 2.0 line and the GO UNO line. These two lines of transfer papers were thoroughly vetted and selected based on their ease of use, exceptional print quality and ability to deliver bright white transfers, together with the elasticity, durability and soft hand of the finished product. All media is available through Graphics One – an authorized reseller and national distribution partner for both OKI printers.
Part of the OKI proColor Series – a line of high impact digital color printers that serves the graphic arts, production, specialty printing and imaging technologies industries, the OKI pro920WT is a commercial grade, tabloid/A3 digital color printer with high-quality color output – including white – for textile transfers. The new 711WT from OKI Data Americas is a desktop A4 digital color printer with white toner for lower volume transfer production. Together, these printers deliver high-impact, cost effective alternatives to screen printing, providing speed, accuracy, and exceptional output quality for those within the specialty printing market.
2.) En Pointe Named Partner of Choice for Microsoft System Center 2012: Solution provider En Pointe Technologies said that it is the partner of choice for deploying and implementing Microsoft System Center 2012 as part of its solutions offerings to customers across the West. As the rising leader in Systems Center solutions for end users, En Pointe helps administrators manage their IT environments across traditional datacenters, private and public clouds, client computers, and devices.
3.) Vocus Marketing Suite Integrates All-in-One Email, Social, Search and PR: Cloud marketing software provider Vocus, said it is now offering enhanced features in its Marketing Suite, integrating email, social, search, and publicity together.
The iContact email platform, acquired by Vocus last year, is now fully integrated into the Vocus Marketing Suite. Buying Signals monitors social media to notify marketers when customers are ready to buy their product or service. Business Streams provides marketers with a single management point to receive marketing opportunities such as sales leads, media interview requests, and social media conversations. Local listing management promotes your company in mobile and local searches. With this new release, marketers can now attract, engage, and retain customers with one digital marketing software solution.
4.) Ingram Micro Adds Increased Biz Value for Juniper Networks Partners: Ingram Micro Inc. said last week that Juniper Networks’ integrated portfolio of Simply Connected switching, security and wireless products are now featured within the distributor’s impressive East and West Coast Solution Centers.
Additionally, the value-added distributor is now offering Juniper’s channel partners configure-to-order (CTO) services for select Juniper Networks MX Series 3D Universal Edge Routers, which include the MX5, MX10, MX40 and MX80.
5.) Tech Data Expands Relationship with IBM on Power Systems, Enterprise-Class Storage: Tech Data Corporation last week said it expanded its relationship to offer IBM’s portfolio of products and services, including Power Systems and enterprise-class storage, to its channel of more than 14,000 data center partners within the United States through the Advanced Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) Division.
Available to authorized IBM Business Partners in the United States, the IBM Power Systems family is comprised of a comprehensive series of servers, systems software and solutions featuring the latest IBM POWER7 and POWER7+ processor technology.
The IBM System Storage line comprises a wide range of advanced systems that exploit high-speed disk, solid state storage, and advanced tape to help customers manage the challenges of Big Data more efficiently and cost effectively.
