EarthLink Holdings Corp. announced earlier this week the launch of its managed IPsec VPN service, which was developed to support secure data exchange and connect multiple locations on a high-bandwidth PCI-compliant network. 
IPsec VPN, short for Internet protocol security for virtual private networks, is the newest addition to Earthlink’s wide-area networking portfolio and best suited for retail, healthcare, financial or professional business operating at multiple locations.
"The addition of IPsec VPN to EarthLink's WAN portfolio positions us to design and implement right-size networks that are the best fit for each business," said Rick C. Froehlich, EarthLink Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. "Our network diagnostic expertise will also help the customer determine whether a pure IPsec VPN, pure MPLS or a combination of the two is ideal for their custom-tailored network."
