D&H Mid-Atlantic Fall Show to be Held Oct. 30 in Hershey, PA

D&H Distributing said today that is has finalized plans for its annual Mid-Atlantic Fall Technology Show. The event, which will be held near D&H headquarters in Hershey, PA, will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 11am-8:30pm.

Booked for about 1,000 reseller attendees at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, the show marks the finale of D&H Distributing’s reseller trade event schedule for its 95th anniversary year.  More than 125 vendors will participate in the show, which will include seminars from Cisco, Intel, Microsoft (two sessions), HP, Lenovo and Cloud Nation.  Other exhibitors include Acer, AMD, ASUS, Creative, D-Link, Epson, Kaspersky Lab, NVIDIA, Ricoh, Samsung, Toshiba, WatchGuard and Western Digital, in addition to a roster of component and electronics vendors.

Manufacturer partners making an inaugural appearance at the Mid-Atlantic Fall Show include HDMX (Bluetooth audio), Huawei (networking), IRIS (scanners), Location Based Technology/PocketFinder (GPS), OGIO (notebook bags), OSD Audio (speakers), QFX Electronics (headphones), Smart IT/OXX Digital (audio), Southern Telecom (cameras, tablets), VisTablets (tablet accessories) and ZyXEL (networking).

The event will also feature Intel and Microsoft, who will jointly present a 40-by-40-foot “Touch Experience Lounge,” which will serve as a hub in the center of the exhibit floor.  This feature is an extension of Intel’s ongoing “Experience Tour,” visiting 14 North American cities this fall, designed to help attendees become more familiar with the devices, applications and capabilities facilitated by a touch-based paradigm.  The exhibit will introduce business drivers and real-world usage scenarios at a comprehensive “device bar,” including assorted Microsoft Windows 8 models, which will teach resellers how such items can best be incorporated into their customers’ businesses.

D&H will also feature its Solutions Booth at the show, spotlighting services offered through D&H’s Solutions Web Page.  The booth will show clips from more than 40 videos created by the D&H Solutions Specialist Team on topics such as server builds, power protection, software solutions and more.
