This morning, snom Technology announced that cloud-based VoIP services provider, Telinta, Inc., has developed an auto-provisioning system for the company’s 7xx and 8xx series of business phones. This type of provisioning is designed to streamline the process of adding a large number of snom phones to a network, particularly in a call center setting.
“We are committed to making deployment of our IP desktop phones as seamless as possible,” said Mike Storella, COO of snom Technology Inc., in a press release today. “Telinta’s industry-leading platform and automated solutions, which harness the power of the cloud for painless provisioning, help us to realize this goal for our customers.”
All provisioning will go through the Telinta TeliCore Web Portal, which is currently the world’s largest hosted softswitch of its kind. As soon as a snom 7xx or 8xx phone is connected to a network, the Telinta technology will recognize it and download a full configuration profile. Users may access their full phone network through the same web portal, as well as customer and billing information.
