AirWatch Acquires Motorola’s Mobility Services Platform Biz

And the acquisitions keep on rollin in…AirWatch said today that it has acquired Motorola Solutions’ MSP (Mobility Services Platform) business for an undisclosed sum of cash.

Motorola’s MSP has a long history of enabling customers to provision, stage and manage their enterprise mobile computers. The MSP product line will enable AirWatch to combine MSP’s depth of features and functionality with AirWatch’s ease of use across multiple device and OS types.

Motorola Solutions’ existing MSP customers will continue to receive the same level of service directly from Motorola. AirWatch will evolve the MSP product line on an ongoing basis and pursue further plans to incorporate the leading MSP features into the AirWatch EMM platform.
