Analytics/ Analysis

As of November 1st Microsoft changed its minimum version requirements for connecting Outlook for Windows to Office 365.    Outlook 2013 Service Pack 1 and later will be able to connect to Microsoft 365, however, older versions will no longer be able to connect to these services.  With these changes Microsoft is hoping to improve security of it services.

Hey nation nation, we are back with Lisa Hendrickson, Call That Girl. In fact I recently did, I got my Outlook fixed by the way. So I just had to reinstall it. So thank you for your group on Facebook and your your advice, just a simple reinstall. But that's not why we're here. We're here to talk about you. So what's going on? You said you're busy, he got good things going on?

Lisa Hendrickson

Well, there's a lot of things going on with the Windows 11, new computers, upgrades, there's a lot of things going on with the Microsoft connectivity problems. That was launched Monday, November one, it lasts till May 2020. It's for people who have like the old paid versions. If you have Microsoft 365 Online, it won't connect if you're using 13, 16. And the Pro Plus the old ones, basically, they're forcing you to upgrade. So I did a live q&a About three weeks ago to my clients. Most everybody's fine. But you know what, I didn't get one call on Monday. And I have a feeling I have 4000 clients that didn't push it out yet. I only got one call, you know. So I and other people have said that didn't get any calls. So I'm like, you know, I just don't believe it. But um, so I'm prepared for that. And then, with fourth quarter here, I've been doing a lot of 365 consulting work. It's just crazy how the systems can get all messed up with people's personal accounts, OneDrive, they're trying to share their OneDrive to outside the company, they have synchronizing problems. So I take a lot of these calls, and I sell them a three hour ticket, we do onboarding, we reconfigure, we set it up, then we train. So it turns out to be sometimes a six hour ticket. So it's usually three to six. So it's a good sales lead for me. So if somebody is watching this, and they don't know how to do that, I do have a referral commission I send out to people, you know, if you refer me a client, and sometimes that's all the work I do, and then you could take the client back and do support yourself. But I do a lot of that work. Yeah. I did, too. Today, already.

Harry Brelsford

Well, you you've earned the right to do that work. Hey, question is we kind of come to the end of 2021 headed into 2022. Are you still developing your domain expertise, I believe was the legal software field or law enforcement software field what's going on there?

Lisa Hendrickson

So I ended up making that its website agent 99. That email, that's some phone. I put the marketing aside for now. But I do have it connected to a few other places so people can see it. I do. I do take a fair enough calls for investigation work. But I decided not to market that yet. Because sitting on the sideline, Call That girl.com site is the training and that's where I'm trying to push people to go for the training stuff. Again, it's like a new business. You got to start slow with the marketing and ease it into everything. So today my newsletter it was in there's a little little bump piece. Yeah. But

Harry Brelsford

yeah, very good. And I know asSMB Nation be happy to participate, are you thinking you may bring some communities together to do a Black Friday special again, we sure enjoyed that.

Lisa Hendrickson

We're not doing that this year. Okay. No, I think too many companies are in change mode and they just, you know, I got a note from somebody and I was like, we're not gonna we're gonna skip this year. It will come back next year.

Harry Brelsford

Okay. All right. Well, always a pleasure to talk to you stay busy.

Lisa Hendrickson

We'll see you guys. Bye. Bye bye.
